Crimson - Chapter 8 (Vincent Valentine x Reader)Crimson - Chapter 8 (Vincent Valentine x Reader) by TD-Yukiryuu
Hello, everyone! I would like to express my appreciation to all of you for showing support to me by reading, commenting, and adding my story to your favorites. I would also like to thank the many suggestions I received regarding a title for this story. To be honest, I liked all of your suggestions, and that's where the problem lies. “Zero! You’re still here!” Exclaimed Kaien, the Academy’s headmaster, as he noticed the young Kiryu entering his office. “I thought you’d be at your apartment by now.”

“Whatever. I am treating him the way he should be treated.” The young man answered, earning a shake of the head from the older man. “Anyways… are they still upstairs?”
“No. Actually, Miss _______ fell asleep an hour ago and Akatsuki had to take her to her dorm,” answered Kaien.

“_______! Come quick! Your brother is here!” Mr. Cross called out. Your eyes grew wide and your lips parted ever so slightly, showing just how surprised you were by the news. Slowly, you rose to your feet, all the while keeping your unblinking eyes fixated on the older man who stood in the distance. “He has just arrived!” Kaien shouted excitedly and you could clearly see his pearly grin even from that relatively long distance that separated the two of you. “Come on!” He waved with his hands as a gesture for you to run to his side.
Still caught into a state of stupor after hearing the good news, you kept looking at the headmaster, unable to make a move. It took you a while to register the actuality of what was happening and to finally react to it. “Akatsuki…” you mouthed, still entranced by the moment. A shaky breath rippled through your throat as the rising anticipa

The Next Day:
You stepped out of the bathtub and reached for the towel that you had hung on the side, wrapping it fast around your body. With careful steps, you headed to the ceramic sink and grabbed the smaller towel, throwing it over your head and drying your wet hair. As you let the now damp towel fall from your head, you dropped it on top of the sink and leaned against its cold, white surface. You raised your eyes to look at your own reflection in the mirror that was fixed over the sink and you reached to wipe the fog with your palm, feeling the droplets of clear water slide from the glass onto the palmar skin of your hand. Your brow furrowed at the sight of your face; red cuts and scrapes stood out in notable contrast with the unblemished skin of your visage, but you were thankful that the gash on the side of your forehead was no longer bleeding.
You let out a long sigh from between your l
